Our core mission:
We are committed to defending core principles of liberal democracy, especially pluralism, trust in institutions, and the necessity of democratic means for addressing problems.
We are particularly concerned about violence, especially political violence and violence against minorities, and the erosion of trust in institutions, especially via conspiracy narratives.
Our approach:
Our approach is based on two key tenets: the importance of bringing together people from different spheres, with different perspectives, who can work together to tackle some of the deepest problems facing our society today; and the fundamental role that rigorous academic research must play in this process.
